Attune Knee Lawsuits

What is Happening with the Attune Knee System?

Medical device manufacturer DePuy Orthopaedics markets a knee replacement system named the Attune Knee System. DePuy claims that the system has improved range of motion, giving patients the confidence of a stable knee replacement.

The truth seems to be very different. DePuy has informed the FDA about numerous premature failures of the Attune Knee System. These premature failures destabilize the patients’ knee replacements and require revision surgeries. Surgeons are also reporting problems with the Attune Knee System.

How Do I Know if my Attune Knee System is Failing Too Soon?

Talk to your surgeon. Symptoms of premature knee implant failure include loosening of the joint, instability, unusual and ongoing pain, decreased range of motion, or swelling.

Do I Have a Case?

When a knee implant fails prematurely, the only solution is usually a painful revision of the knee. If you or a loved one was implanted with an Attune Knee System and required a revision surgery because it failed, you can contact a medical device attorney at Riley & Jackson to discuss your situation free of charge. We can discuss your complications with you and make a determination as to whether a review of your medical records is warranted.
