At Riley & Jackson, P.C., our attorneys understand that choosing an attorney to whom you will refer a client can be a difficult decision. You have an established relationship with your client and, whether because of a conflict or because the client’s case is an area in which you do not typically practice, you will be entrusting that relationship to another attorney. Our attorneys go to great lengths to honor and protect client relationships for all attorneys who refer their clients to us, and we will do the same for your relationship with the client you need to refer. For an idea as to some of the feedback we receive from our clients, please visit our testimonials page .
Our referral attorneys are always welcome to remain as actively involved in the cases they refer as they would like. In many instances, our referral attorneys choose not to be active in the case and ask only that we provide periodic updates. Other referral attorneys prefer to attend depositions and hearings to gain a broader familiarity with the subject matter at issue in the case and to build on their knowledge base. Still others prefer to share the expenses and the work load evenly. Whatever your preference may be, the attorneys at Riley & Jackson, P.C. will work with you and your client toward what will hopefully be a successful resolution for your client.
We also understand that reputation or prior results may not be sufficient to convince you that a specific attorney is the right attorney for your referral.
