Francois M. Blaudeau
Dr. Blaudeau graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1981 and then attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating with a medical degree in 1987. Dr. Blaudeau completed his residency at Tulane University and went into private practice in 1991. Dr. Blaudeau continues to practice medicine in Birmingham, where he is an obstetrician/gynecologist.
Dr. Blaudeau received his law degree from the Birmingham School of Law in 1998, after which he established the Southern Institute for Legal and Medical Affairs to advocate for physicians’ and patients’ rights. Dr. Blaudeau is a fellow in the American College of Legal Medicine. He associated with the law firm of Riley & Jackson, P.C. in 2001, where he focuses on medical malpractice, healthcare litigation, and healthcare business development. Dr. Blaudeau is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Birmingham Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and French.
Dr. Blaudeau is married to the former Tamilane Ervin of Pell City, Alabama. Dr. Blaudeau and Tammi have five children, Nicole, Garrett, Natalie, Alexis, and Gianna, and four grandchildren.
